Blocks are the key elements for the responsive behavior of forms. Depending on the device (desktop, tablet or phone) and the orientation (portrait or landscape), the blocks will be automatically re-arranged for best user-friendly mobile display of your forms.

Left block – right block

A form page is structured by tabs, and tabs again contain blocks. Blocks always come in pairs:

  • left block and
  • right block

Blocks and Responsive Design

Usually, the right block is displayed next to the left block.
But these blocks are re-arranged and the right block is displayed below the left block:

  • when the window size gets too narrow,
  • when the tablet is rotated to portrait mode,
  • when a mobile phone is used.

Then the right block slides under the left block (= responsive behavior).
Note: The content always remains the same, only the position is changed.
